A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM RECEIVING THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
AND CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
THE KATELLA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission
submitted to the City Council of the City of Anaheim a Proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Katella Redevelopment Project Area,
accompanied by the Commission's Report to the City Council and
Rules Governing Participation and Preferences by Property Owners
and Business Occupants, and consented to and requested that the
City Council call a Joint Public Hearing of the Commission, the
Redevelopment Agency and the City Council to consider.and act upon
the Proposed Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges receipt of the
Proposed Redevelopment Plan, the accompanying Commission's Report
to the City Council, and Rules Governing Participation and
Preferences by Property Owners and Business Occupants; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Section 33000 et. seq.)
authorizes a Joint Public Hearing on the Proposed Redevelopment
Plan with the consent of the Commission and the City Council.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby receives the Proposed
Redevelopment Plan for the Katella Redevelopment Project Area, the
Community Redevelopment Commission's Report to the City Council on
the Proposed Redevelopment Plan, and the Rules Governing
Participation and Preferences by Property Owners and Business
Occupants.
Section 2. The City Council hereby consents to, and, at the
request of the Redevelopment Commission, calls Joint Public Hearing
of the Commission, the Redevelopment Agency and the City Council in
the Anaheim Council Chambers, to consider and act upon the Proposed
Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining
thereto. The time and date of such Joint Public Hearing shall be
July 7, 1987, at 3:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may
be heard, or such later date and time as the Executive Director may
select.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall, in
cooperation with the Executive Director of the Commission, prepare,
publish and mail such notices and documents and do all other acts
as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
