A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
RESOLUTION 2017-113, THE MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND TEAMSTERS, LOCAL 952, FOR
THE PURPOSE OF ADJUSTING RATES OF PAY DUE
TO CALIFORNIA MINIMUM WAGE INCREASE
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim (City) and Teamsters, Local 952, (Teamsters) entered into a
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of
employment for employees represented by Teamsters on July 25, 2017; and
WHEREAS, City and Teamsters representatives have been meeting and conferring on a
successor MOU to the MOU that expired January 1, 2019 and have not yet reached agreement on a
successor MOU; and
WHEREAS, California minimum wage increase takes effect January 1, 2021, and pay rates for
certain classifications represented by Teamsters will be below minimum wage if not adjusted; and
WHEREAS, in order to address minimum wage standards prior to adoption of a successor
MOU, adjustments to certain classifications represented by Teamsters are proposed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that amending the salary schedules
contained in Resolution No. 2017-113 for the sole purpose of ensuring compliance with minimum wage
law is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Human Resources Director shall be
delegated with the authority to publish the authorized salary schedule in said Memorandum of
Understanding in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations Section 570.5
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim the salary schedule within Resolution No. 2017-113, the Memorandum of Understanding
between the City of Anaheim and Teamsters, Local 952, is hereby amended and approved.
SECTION 1.
1. Appendix A-1 Wages, the hourly rates of pay for the following
classifications shall be amended as follows:
Classification Grade Step 9 Step 10
Parking Lot Attendant PT 100 $14.00 $14.00
Parking Lot Cashier PT 110 $14.00 $14.00
Parking Lot Captain PT 120 $14.00 $14.09
SECTION 2.
Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2017-113 shall remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to the salary schedule within Resolution No.
2017-113, is December 25, 2020.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.

Anaheim this 15 day of December , 2020, by the following roll call
