A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING DATED
JULY 1, 1987 BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION GENERAL
CITY EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, on December 17, 1985 the City Council adopted Resolution
85R-532 approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim
and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association General City Employees; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resource Director met and conferred with officials
and employee representatives of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association
General City Employees to discuss Article 62 of the Memorandum of
Understanding entitled Service, Maintenance, Skilled Crafts Classification
Study Reopener; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated July 1, 1987, between the
parties has been prepared and signed amending certain provisions of the
current Memorandum of Understanding effective July 2, 1987; and
WHERF~AS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
approval of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated July 1, 1987, between the City
of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association General City
Employees be and the same is hereby, approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOI.UTION is approved and signed by me this
day of July , 1987.
