A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DIRECTING THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING
COMMISSION AND 'i'HE ANAHEIM COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION TO EXCLUDE CERTAIN
LAND FROM THE PROPOSED KATELLA REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT AREA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim, by
Resolution No. 86R-295, designated a Redevelopment Survey Area; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission, by
Resolution No. PC86-243, selected the boundaries for the proposed
latella Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, a joint public hearing of the Anaheim Community
Redevelopment Commission, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency and the
City Council was opened on July 7, 1987, to consider the approval
and adoption of the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Katella
Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, at the joint public hearing, the Anaheim
Community Redevelopment Commission, the Anaheim Redevelopment
Agency and the City Council heard and considered evidence, both
written and oral, for and against the proposed Redevelopment Plan
for the Katella Redevelopment Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission and the
Anaheim Community Redevelopment Commission have, subsequent to the
joint public hearing, concurred in a recommendation of the
Executive Director of the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency to exclude
from the proposed Katella Redevelopment Project Area the "Area to
be Excluded"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to exclude certain land
from the proposed Katella Redevelopment Project Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. The City Council hereby directs the Anaheim City Planning
Commission to report on and to recommend to the Anaheim Community
Redevelopment Commission the exclusion from the proposed Katella
Redevelopment Project Area of that certain land shown as "areas
proposed to be removed from project" (the "Area to be Excluded")
on Exhibit A, consisting of 14 pages, dated of even date, on file
in the Office of the City Clerk and incorporated herein fully by
this reference.
2. The City Council hereby directs the Anaheim Community
Redevelopment Commission to exclude from the proposed Katella
Redevelopment Project Area the Area to be Excluded.
