A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEES PERTAINING TO
SIDEWALK REPAIR.
WHEREAS, Chapter 12.29 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
provides, or shall provide, for allocation of cost of sidewalk
repair attributable to tree roots and authorizes, or will
authorize the City Council to set fees related thereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish said
fees to reflect City costs in making such repairs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines
that revision of these fees is exempt from the provisions of CEQA
pursuant to Section 21080(b)(8) of the California Public Resources
Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the fees
hereinafter established do not exceed the reasonable estimated
costs of the service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that sidewalk repair fees shall be as follows:
$ 3.80 per square foot for 4-inch sidewalk
$ 4.12 per square foot for 6-inch sidewalk
$65.00 per repair for cutting of tree roots
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fees established herein
shall not become effective until the effective date of the
ordinance authorizing said fees.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
