A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 86R-292 WHICH
ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES
DESIGNATED AS PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL
MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended
in a staff report dated August 18, 1987, that Management Pay
Policy 5.9 be amended to provide the classification of Assistant
City Clerk with a one-time temporary upgrade provision; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend
Resolution No. ~6R-292 which established rates of compensation
for classes designated as Professional and Technical Management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
That effective August 21, 1987, Section 5.9 is hereby
amended to include the following language:
'5.9 The classification of Assistant City Clerk shall
be eligible for a one-time temporary upgrade from August 21~
1987, through the return to work of the incumbent from the
current medical leave of absence. The rate of compensation for
this upgrade provision shall be calculated in accordance with
current upgrade provisions."
