RESOLUTION NO. 87R-44l
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A THREE YEAR EXTENSION OF
TIME FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2160.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
\naheim did receive an application for a three (3) year extension
of time for Conditional Use Permit No. 2160 from RALPH GABRIEL
ALEXANDER, 1874 South Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California
92705, owner, and MICHAEL JACOBS AND HANAN STANLEY, 12432 Baja
Panorama, Santa Ana, California, agents, upon certain real
property located within the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, legally described as:
All that certain land described in a deed to Ralph
Gabriel Alexander recorded August 15, 1952, in Book
2370, Page 306 of Official Records, in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County; Excepting
therefrom the Northerly 20.00 feet thereof; Also
excepting therefrom that portion of land lying
Easterly of the following described line: Beginning
at the Southeast corner of the land of said Ralph
Gabriel Alexander, 162.37 feet to the True Point of
Beginning: thence Northerly at right angles to said
South line, 177.43 feet to the North line of said land
to Ralph Gabiel Alexander; and
WHEREAS, on June 22, 1987, the City Planning Commission
did hold a public hearing upon said application notices of which
public hearing were duly given as required by law; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC87-l33 granting a
lhree (3) year extension of time for Conditional Use Permit No.
2160 to expire on June 22, 1990; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion,
caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a duly
noticed public hearing; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after careful consi-
deration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission
and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that said
permit is being exercised in a manner not detrimental to the area
and surrounding land uses, nor to the public peace, health,
safety and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that, for the reasons hereinabove stated, the
action of the City Planning Commission granting said time
extension be, and the same is hereby, affirmed and that
Conditional Use Permit No. 2160 be, and the same is hereby,
extended, subject to all the conditions set forth in Planning
Commission Resolution No. PC8l-8 for a period of three (3) years,
expiring on June 22, 1990, subject to review of possible
extensions of time by the Planning Commission upon written
request by the petitioner.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby find and determine that adoption of this Resolution is
expressly predicated upon applicant's compliance with each and
311 of the conditions hereinabove set forth. Should any such
conditions, or any part thereof, be declared invalid or
unenforceable by the final judgment of any court of competent
jurisdiction, then this Resolution, and any approvals herein
contained, shall be deemed null and void.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
:ity Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of October,
1987.
