RESOLUTION NO. 87R-472
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceedings
No. 87-88-01 to consider an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code relating to zoning, and to consider a change in the
houndaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described
and, at said hearing, did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following
said hearing, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and denied the proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law,
an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused
the review of said Planning Commission action; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider
the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones
in which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set
forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now
incorporated and that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
THE NORTH HALF OF THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTHEAST
QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 28,
TOWNSHIP 4 SOUTH, RANGE 10 WEST, IN THE RANCHO LAS
BOLSAS, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 51, PAGE 10
OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS. RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA.
EXCEPT THEREFROM THAT PORTION INCLUDED WITHIN TRACT NO.
3240, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 113, PAGES 1, 2, AND
3 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY.

ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM THAT PORTION INCLUDED WITHIN THE
LAND DESCRIBED IN DEED TO THE ORANGE COUNTY fLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT, RECORDED OCTOBER 14, 1957 IN BOOK
4069, PAGE 188 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE
COUNTY.
ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM THAT PORTION LYING NORTHERLY AND
WESTERLY OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINE:
BEGINNING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 37 OF THE
ABOVE MENTIONED TRACT NO. 3240; THENCE ALONG THE
EASTERLY PROLONGATION OF THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 37,
NORTH 89 DEGREES 13 MINUTES 30 SECONDS EAST 10.18 FEET;
THENCE NORTH 00 DEGREES 55 MINUTES 30 SECONDS WEST
186.00 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID SECTION 28,
shall remain in the "RS-A-43,000" RESIDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAL ZONE and
not be reclassified into the "CL" COMMERCIAL, LIMITED ZONE.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th da of November, 1987.
