CITY OF ANAHEIM RESOLUTION NO. 87R-521
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE INVITATION
OF PROPOSALS FOR THE PURCHASE OF $5,000,000
WATER REVENUE BONDS, 1988 SERIES, OF SAID CITY;
APPROVING THE FORM OF THE OFFICIAL BID FORM, THE
NOTICE OF SALE, THE NOTICE OF ~ION TO SELL
BONDS AND THE PRELIMINARY OFFICIAL STATEMENT;
AND AUTHORIZING THE PUBLICATION OF THE N<YrICE OF
INTENTION TO SELL BONDS AND THE NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, this City Council deems it necessary and proper
that proposals be invited for the purchase of $5,000,000 principal
amount of Water Revenue Bonds, 1988 Series (the "Bonds") of the city
of Anaheim, California (the "City"), and that the Bonds be sold in
the manner below;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. Sealed proposals for the purchase of the Bonds
shall be received by the city Clerk of the City at the time and place
provided for in the Notice of Sale as hereinafter approved.
SECTION 2. The form, terms and provisions of the Official
Bid Form, in substantially the form submitted to this meeting, are
hereby approved and adopted as part of this Resolution. The Public
Utilities General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause
such Official Bid Form to be printed with such changes, insertions
and omissions as the Public utilities General Manager may approve,
such approval to be conclusively evidenced by the final printing of
the Official Bid Form.
SECTION 3. The form, terms and provisions of the Notice
of Sale, in substantially the form submitted to this meeting, are
hereby approved and adopted as part of this Resolution. The City
Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause such notice to be
published once, at least fifteen (15) days prior to the earliest date
for receiving proposals provided for therein, in The Anaheim
Bulletin, the official newspaper of the City, with such changes,
insertions and omissions as the City Clerk may approve, such approval
to be conclusively evidenced by such publication of the Notice of
Sale.

SECTION 4. The form, terms and provisions of the Notice
of Intention to Sell Bonds, in substantially the form submitted to
this meeting, are hereby approved and adopted as part of this
Resolution. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause such notice to be published once, at least fifteen (15) days
prior to the earliest date for receiving proposals stated therein, in
The Bond Buyer, a financial publication circulated throughout
California, with such changes, insertions and omissions as the city
Clerk may approve, such approval to be conclusively evidenced by such
publication of the Notice of Intention to Sell Bonds.
SECTION 5. The form of the Prel iminary Official
Statement, in substantially the form submitted to this meeting, is
hereby approved and adopted as part of this Resolution. The Public
utilities General Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause
such Preliminary Official Statement to be printed with such changes,
insertions and omissions as the Public utilities General Manager may
approve, such approval to be conclusively evidenced by the printing
of the Preliminary Official Statement.
SECTION 6. The city Clerk and Public utilities General
Manager are authorized and directed to cause to be furnished to pro-
spective bidders for the Bonds, upon their request, a reasonable
number of copies of the Notice of Sale, the Official Bid Form, and
the Preliminary Official Statement as hereinbefore approved.
