A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W'3500-3l)
RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RICHARD W. REYES AND
ELEANOR V. REYES to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described
as follows:
An Irrevocable Offer of Dedication of an easement for
road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that portion of Lot 1, in Block 3 of
Rothaermel's Addition to the City of Anaheim, as per
map recorded in Book 4, page 82 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, and that portion of
Lot 5 in Block 1 of Tract No. 135, Elliott-Anderson
Subdivision, per map recorded in Book 11, page 24 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County,
lying Westerly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of said
Lot 5, said point being distant 47.00 feet Easterly,
as measured at right angles, from the existing
centerline of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly North Los
Angeles Street) as shown on said map of Tract 135;
Thence South 15 degrees 30' 00" East parallel with
said centerline a distance of 129.22 feet,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owners of said real property, out of
General Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
46-792-7l0l-E2740 the sum of Twenty-Four Thousand Two Hundred
Twenty-One Dollars ($24,221.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City of Anaheim that certain Right of Way Agreement
with the property owners.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of December, 1987.
