A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #3500-41 AND 3500-42)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HELEN M. BRUMMEL to sell to
the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An Irrevocable Offer of Dedication of an easement for
road and utility purposes on, over, under, across and
through that portion of Lot 11 and Lot 12 in Block E
of Tract No. 23, Zeyn Tract Annex No.2, as shown on
a map recorded in Book 9, page 24 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, lying
Easterly of a line parallel with and distant 47.00
feet Westerly, as measured at right angles, from the
existing center line of Anaheim Boulevard (formerly
North Los Angeles Street), as shown on said map.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion, if any, previously
dedicated to the City of Anaheim for street purposes,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
46-792-710l-E2740 the sum of Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars
($27,000).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City of Anaheim that certain Right of Way Agreement
with the property owner.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of December, 1987.
