A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE, RUBBISH
AND WASTE MATERIAL BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
WARREN W. JAYCOX, AND PROVIDING FOR AN AUDIT
TO SUBSTANTIATE COST INCREASE BY JANUARY 31,
1976.
WHEREAS, a contract was entered into by and between the
City of Anaheim and'Warreri'W.'J'aycox on June 1, 1958; -and
WHEREAS, the parties to said contract t have entered into
various mesne amendments to said contract and extended the term
thereof to and including June 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the parties thereto have amended the agreement
to provide for various increases in the costs of rubbish payments
to reflect increased costs of labor being charged to Warren W.
Jaycox; and
WHEREAS, the parties to said contract do mutually agree
that said contract should be amended by granting an increase of
twenty-five cents ($.25) per unit, effective July 1, 1975, and to
provide for an audit to substantiate such increase.
WHEREAS, an amendment to agreement has this day been
submitted, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory to
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that that said Amendment to Agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Warren W. Jaycox this day submitted be,
and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby" authorized to execute' said Amendment to ' Agreement for and
on behalf -of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22nd day of July, 1975.
