A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN
BY ADOPTING AND INCORPORATING THEREIN A RIDING
AND HIKING TRAILS ELEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recom-
mendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore held a public hearing to consider an
amendment to the General Plan to add a Trails, Equestrian and
Hiking Trails -Element thereto; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the Planning Commission, the City Council did duly hold and
conduct such public hearing and did give all persons -interested
therein an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and
reports and did consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
a Trails, Equestrian and Hiking Trails Element should be approved
in accordance with the Exhibit submitted to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a Trails,- Equestrian and Hiking Trails
Element be, and the same is hereby, added to the Anaheim General
Plan in accordance with the Exhibit submitted to, and hereby
approved by, the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be, and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map
to conform to said Amendment as herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
