A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM :APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO o 28
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to
the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of the
property described in Conditional Use Permit No. 596 ~
and being generally bounded by: Harbor Boulevard on the West; a
line approximately 600 feet south of Orangewood Avenue on the
South; a line approximately 1300 ft. east of Harbor Boulevard
on the East; and a line approximately 675 ft. north of Orange-
wood Avenue on the North,
and comprising approximately__ thirty-seven (37) acres, as
shown and described on Exhibit "A" duly approved by said Plan-
ning Commission, and at said h~aring ~id receive evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing thereon the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its
findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and
a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan, desig-
nated as Amendment Noo 28_~, be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the 18th day of
Au us__~_~__, 19 64 as the time and the Counci~-~ber in the City
Hall of the City~ Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said proposed Amendment NCo 28 to the General Plan and did give
notice thereof in the manne~ a~as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment Nos 28 to the General Plan, encompassing the afore~
mentioned and generally described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General Plan, as shown on Exhibit
"A~' , duly approved by the City Planning Commission and on
e-~the City Planning Department, should be approved°
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED_ky the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No.28 to the General
Plan, encompassing the aforementioned an-~erally described
property, as shown on said Exhibit "A" , be, and the same
is hereby approved~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby instructed, to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No~ 28 herein approved°
