A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
~THE GENERAL PLAN DESICNATED AS AMENDMENT
NO~ 26 o
WHEREAS~ the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution re~
commending denial, of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity of the property described in
Reclassification Proceedings No~ ~ - -~~and being
generaIly bounded by~
A line approximately 275 ft. west of Western Avenue. on
the west; a line approximately 150 ft. south of Ball Road
on the south; a line approximately 900 ft. east of Western
Avenue on the east; and a line approximately 300 ft. north
of Ball Road on the north,
and comprising approxL~mtely fifteen acres~ as shown and described
on Exhibit "A" on file in ~ Plan~ing Department, after
having held a p~ic hearing zn the manner and as prescribed by
law to consider said proposed amendment~ and after having re~
ceived evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS~> following the hearing thereon~ the Planning
Commission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings
of facts and declare it~ opinions and reasons fer recommending
denial of said a~endment to the General Plan~ designated as
Amendment NCo 26 ~ and
WHEREA$~ upon receipt of said resolution~ summary of
ev~dence~ report cf findings~ and recommendation of the City
Planning Co~i, ssion~ the City Council, did fix the llth day of
A~ust ~ lq~ as t~e time and the Counci]7--C~-~-~r zn
~h-~-~Ma~'6f the C{ty of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon ~aid propo~ed Amendment No~ 26 to the General
Plan and did give notice thereof in the manner an-~ as provided
by law~ and
WHEREA$~ at the time, and place fixed for said public
hearing~ the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and d~d give all persons interested therein an oppor~
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon con~ider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission~ and
WHEREA$~ the City Council, does find and determine that
Amendment NOo 2~~to ~he General Plan~ encompassing ~he afore-
mentioned and generally described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General, Plan~ as shown on Exhibit
"A" f~
~ on z~e in the City Planning Department~ should be
appro~o
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment Noo 26 to the General
Plan~ encompassing the aforementioned an~ generally described
property~ a~ shown on said Exhibit '~" be~ and the same
is hereby approved°
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby instructed~ to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment Noo ,~__2~__ herein approved°
