WHEREAS, th,~ City Planning Com.~:,ission of the City of
Anaheim did h<~ld a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. o3-64-141 tc consider an amendment to
'Title 18 of the Ar'.;aneim Muni(ipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a r:hange in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentionea and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its st:aff~
WHERE.iS, with£m a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon the Planning Commission. did duly adopt a reso-
lution containing a report of its findings, a summary of the
evidence presented a~ said [tearing, and a recommendation that
the proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that
a certain zone or z. oz~es be changed as hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, upo~a receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report o~ findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission ~he City Council did fix the 21st day
of _~ , 19~6._4' ....; as the time and the City Council
Chambers in the City llall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim bkmicipal Code, and the exclusion of said prop-
erty, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in which
it is now sir. uated, and the incorporation thereof in the zone
or zones hereinafter .:;et forth; and did give notice thereof
in the mapner ar,~d fo:;m as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, ac' the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing, a,d did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings, and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Amaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anahekm that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California., to wit:

That portion of the East half of the Northeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South,
Range t0 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in the City
of Anaheim~ County of Orange, State of California, as
said Section is shown on a Map recorded in Book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County~ described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the East line of said
Section 7~ with the Southwesterly line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad right of way; thence Southerly along
said East line, to the Northeast corner of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 7; thence
West along the North line of said Southeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of said Section 7 to the South-
east corner of Lot 97, Tract 1202, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 37, page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County; thence Northerly along
the Easterly line of said Tract 1202 to said Southwesterly
line of the railroad right of way; thence along said
Southwesterly line South 57° 13' 30~ East to the point
of beginning.
Excepting those portions thereof conveyed to the State
of California by deed recorded June 14, 1950 in Book
2027~ page 126 of Official Records, lying within the
right of way of Sequoia Avenue and by deed recorded
February 25, 1955 in Book 2973, page 60 of said Official
Records, lying within the right of way of Brookhurst
Street.
be excluded from ti-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and incorpo-
rated in C-i, NEIGHBORHOOD-COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim along Sequoia Avenue and Brookhurst Street,
such as curbs and gutters~ street grading and paving,
drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall
be completed as required by the City Engineer and
in accordance with standard plans and specifications
to be prepared by the City of Anaheim.
That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of 15¢ per front foot
along Brookhurst Street and Sequoia Street, for
tree planting purposes°
That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with approved plans on file in the Office
of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent
of Streets.
That all of the above conditions shall be complied
with prior to the issuance of any future building
permit.

BE I% FURiHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney bey and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and sub~2it to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of th~. A~aheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter~
mined to be necessary and. proper.
?HE FOREGOING iRESOLUTION is approved and signed by
this 21st day of July__~, 19 64 .
