A i~E$OLUTioN OF T~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CiTY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDP~NT
TO THE GENEkAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMEND-
P~NT NO. 20.
~arHEKEAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to
the Circulation Element of the streets and highways on the
General Plan in the general location and vicinity of the
proposed alignment of Linda Vista and Jefferson Streets between
Orangethorpe and Walnut Avenues~ as shown and described on
Exhibit ~A~~ Alternate No. 1~ duly approved by said Planning
Commission, and at said hearing did receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
'~kEAS~ following said hearing thereon the Planning
Commission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of
its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said
hearing, and a recommendation that said amendment to the
General Plan~ designated as Amendment No. 20, be adopted 'by the
City Council; and
WH~kEA£~ upon zeceio~ of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings~ and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission~ ~he City Council did fix the 14th day of
Juiy~ i96~= as ~he time and the Council Chamber in the City
Hall of the City of .%naheim as the place for a public hearing
upon said proposed Amendment No. 20 to the General Plan and
d~d give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law;
and
~fHEEEAS. a~ the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing amd did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard amd did receive evidence and reports and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of 'the City Planning
Commission; and
";~ELEAS~. the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 2'0 ~o the General Plan, encompassing the
aforementioned and generally described property included within
the proposed amendment to the General Plan, as shown on Exhibit
'~A,:~ Alternate No. i= duly approved by the City Planning Commis-
sion and on file :in the City Planning Department, should be
approved.
