64-493A RE$OLUIION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NOo 7
WHEREAS~ the~ City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
~ecommending denial of an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and vicinity cf the property described in
z, eczassification Proceedings No. 63-64-8~

Part i - A line approximately 300 ft. south of Ball Road on the
north, Euclid St. on the east~ high school site on the
south, and a line approximately 150 ft. west of Euclid
St. on the west.
Part 2 - Anaheim Fire Station site on the north~ a line approxi-
mately 200 ft. east of Euclid St. on the east, Cerritos
Ave. on the south, and Euclid St. on the west~
and co~prising approximately~ 8 acre~ as shown
and described on Exhibit No. 1 on ~ in the City Planning
Department~ after having ~]~ public hearing in the manner and
as prescribed by law te consider said proposed amendment, and
after having ~eceived evidence and reports from persons interested
therein ~ and
W~EREA$~ fo]lowing ~'he hearing thereon~ the Planning Com-
~ission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of
facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending denial
of sa~d amendment to ~.he General Plan~ designated as Amendment
No~ 7 ~ and
WHEREAS~ upon receipt of ~aid resolution, summary of evi~
dence~ report ~f findings~, and recommendation of the City Planning
Commission:~. the City Counc~l did fix the 17th day of ~rch ~
!9 64 as ~he time m~d. the Council Chambe~-~he City~e
Ci~' Anahei~ as the place for a public hearing upon said pro~
posed Amendment No,~ 7 to the General Plan and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law~ and
WHEREAS~ at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing~ the City Council d~.d duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendatioms of the City Planning Commission~ and
WHEREAS~ the City Council. does find and determine that
the aforementioned and. described property included within the pro~
posed amendment, to the General Plan is more sditabie for the
general land use presemtly shown on the General Plan Map~ and that
Amendment No.~ 7 to the General Plan, covering the afore-
mentioned and ~ri~e-d-property included within the proposed Amend~
ment No~ 7 to the General Plan, should not be granted.~
NOW~ 'THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anahei~ that Amendment No~ 7 to the General Plan~
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit No. 1 , be~ and the same is hereby disap-
proved as recommended by t-h~~y Planning Commission o
