A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT
NO o 13
WHEREAS~ the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing to consider an amendment to
the General Plan in the general location and vicinity of the
property described in Recl. assification Proceedings Nee 63-64r.9~4
, and being generally bounded by~
Western Avenue on the west,
A line approximately 800 feet north of Cerritos Ave. on the south,
Beach Boulevard on the east, and
The Flood Control Channel on the north,
and comprising approxi, mately 150 acres, as shown and
d.escr, ibed on Exhibit "D" duI~-approg~d-~~ said Planning Com-
mzsszon~ and at said ~g did 'receive evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and '
WHEREAS~ following said hearing thereon the Planning Com-
mission did duly adopt a resolution containing a report of its find-
ings~ a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing, and a
recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan, designated
as Amendment Nee 13 · ~ be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS~ upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings~ and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission~ the City Council did fix the 5th~ day of Ma__~.
............. ~ 1,9 64 as the time and the Council Chamber in the Czty
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon
said proposed Amendment Nee 13 to the General Plan and did
give notice thereof in the mann--nd as provided by law; and
WHEREAS,~ at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all, persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the ~recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS~ the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment Nee 13 to the General Plan~ encompassing the afore~
mentioned and gently described property included within the
proposed amendment to the General. Plan~ as shown on Exhibit ~'D" _,
duly approved by the City Planning Commission and on file in t~
City Planning Depa'rtments should be approvedo
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment Nee 13 to the General Plan,
encompassing the aforementioned and genera-~TI~ described property,
as shown on said Exhibit "D" be and the same is hereby approved
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be~
and it is hereby instructed~ to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment Nee 13 herein approved°
