A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
I~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit' An easement for road and
public utility pu~rposes ~ ;
and -
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
to sell and convey the same~ the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EOUITABLE WATER CO.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
p.ublic u.~i.!it¥ purpgses
__, and more particularly described as follows'
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the following described parcels of land:
PARCEL ONE: The Westerly 5.00 feet of the Easterly 35.00
feet of the Northerly 75.00 feet of the Northeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter of Section 23, Township 4 South
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within Cerritos
Avenue.
PARCEL TWO: A triangular shaped parcel of land described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of the above des-
cribed Parcel One, said point being 45.00 feet South of
the North line of the Northeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 23; thence Northerly along said
Westerly line a distance of 25.00 feet to the Southerly
right of way line of Gerritos Avenue, said Southerly line
being parallel with and 20.00 feet South of the center
line of Cerritos Avenue; thence Westerly along said
Southerly line of Cerritos Avenue a distance of 25.00
feet; thence Southeasterly in a direct line to the point
of beginning.
