OF ANAHEIM DISAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO o 8
WHEREA$~ the, City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution
~eco~mending denial cf an amendment to the General Plan in the
general location and wicinity cf the property described in
Reclassification Proceedings No.~
A line approximately 200 ft. southwest of Manchester Avenue
on the west; a line approximately 1,450 ft. south of Katella
Avenue on the south; Manchester Avenue on the east, and
Katella Avenue on the north.

and described on Exhibit No.'-"~--~~ {~t-~~ity Planning
Department~ after having ~ public heating in the manner and
as prescribed by law to con~der said p~oposed amendment~ and
after having received evidence and reports from persons interested

WHEREA$>~ following t:he hearing thereon~ the Planning Com-
mission did duly announce by formal resolution its findings of
facts and dec. late its opinions and reasons for recommending denial
of said amendment t.o ~he General Plan~ designated as Amendment
No.. 8 ; and
WHEREA$~ upon receipt of .said resolution, summary of evi~
dence~ report cf findings~, and recon~mendation of the City Planning
Con~mission~ the City Council did fix the ~7th_ day of ~ril
1.9 64 as t.he time and, the C unc~l Chamber zn the Czty Hall of the
Ci~' Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said pro®
posed Amendment No~:, 8 to the General Plan and did give
notice t. hereof in the manner: and as provided by law~ and
WHEREA$~ at .the time and place fixed for said public
hearing~, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons '.interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recon~e'ndatio~s of t. he City Planning Commis~ion~ and
WHEREAS~ the City Council. does find and determine that
the aforementioned and, described property included within the pro-
posed amendment to the General PI, an is more sditable for the
general land use presently shown on the General PI.an Map~ and that
Amendment. No~ 8 to ~he General Plan, covering the afore-
mentioned and ~[escr~-propert. y included within the proposed Amend-
ment NO o _8_____to the General Plan, should not be granted~
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Amendment No o 8 to the General Plan~
encompassing the aforementioned and generally described property,
as shown on said Exhibit No. 1 ~ be~ and the same is hereby disap-
proved as recommended by t-~e-~y Planning Commission o
