A AESOLUTiON OF THE CITY ~OUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING CE~TAIN PERSONS
TO ACT FOk THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IN CONNECTION
WITH SMALL CLAIMS ACTIONS; AND SUPERSEDING
liESOLUTION NO. 62R-444.
WHEREAS~ the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find and determine that it is necessary in the normal
course of business in the City of Anaheim to instigate, prose-
cute, and consummate litigation involving small amounts, the
jurisdiction of which is vested in the Small Claims Court,
being amounts of less than $200.00; and
WHEREAS~ it is deemed by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that certain personnel in the Finance Depart-
ment should be authorized to act in the City's behalf in
connection with Small Claims actions.
=> ' ~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
NOW, THEREFORE,
of the City of Anaheim that the following named p~rsons, to
wit'
JOHN WOODSTt~k
JAMES E. WILLIS
P~kYBELLE E. SPENCER
DONALD R. METZGER
RICHARD P. LAROUCHE
be, and the same are hereby, authorized to commence, prose-
cute, and consummate Small Claims litigation for, in behalf
of, and in the name of the City of Anaheim, and that they,
and each of them, are authorized to file Small Claims peti-
tions, to appear at Small Claims hearings, to represent the
City, and to file satisfaction of judgment in Small Claims
actions, and to do any and all other things necessary and
convenient in the processing of Small Claims actions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 62R-444
be~ and it is hereby superseded by the foregoing resolution.
