A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRAiNT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND,,,,,PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES~ . .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit' An easement for road and
public utility purp0s.es .

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have_~__ offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of

to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road. and
public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road. and public utility purposes over, under,
and across the Easterly 53.00 feet of the following described
parcel of land'
That portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim Extension, according to the
maps of surveys made by William Hamel, acknowledged by Alfred
Robinson, Trustee, and on file in the office of the County Re-
corder of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the center line of State
College Boulevard (formerly Placentia Avenue) with the center
line of the right of way of the Anaheim Union Water Company, a
corporation, ss said right of way was established by a judgment
of the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the
County of Orange, in an action entitled. Anaheim Union Water Com-
pany, a corporation, Plaintiff vs. H.F.H. Schneider, et al,
Defendants, and being Case No. 6468, a certified copy of said
~ud~ent 'being recorded in Book 281, page 126 of Deeds of said
Orange County, and running thence North 0° 07' 25" East along
said center line of State College Boulevard 91.5 feet to the
true point of beginnin~ of the boundary of the land described;
thence Sout~'~ 8~ 4.3 25 West parallel with the center line of
said right of way of the Anaheim Union Water Company, a corpora-
tion, 156 feet; thence North 0° 07' 25'~ East parallel with said
cen~er~ line of State Col].e~ae~' Boulevard. to the Southerly line of
land conveyed to J.F. Burgess and. wife, by deed recorded. July 9,
194~ in Book 1666, page 467 of Official Records; thence North 74°
33' i0" East alon':~o s~;do~.~-- Sout~er£y line to an angle point therein;
thence North 79° 02' 55'~ East 89 feet to said center line of State
College Boulevard; thence South 0° 36' 25" East along said center
line 158.5 feet to the true point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the Cicy cf Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED chat the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real p~operty, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum cf O~e Dollar ($1.00}.
