RESOLUTION NO. 64R- 96
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF
THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS; ASCERTAINING
AND DETERMINING THE COSTS OF REMOVAL OF WEEDS,
RUBBISH, AND RANK GROWTH FROM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM; DIRECTING
THAT THE CITY DEMAND PAYMENT OF SUCH COSTS;
AND ORDERING THAT THE COST OF SUCH REMOVAL
BE CERTIFIED TO THE ORANGE COUNTY AUDITOR
AS A LIEN ON SAID REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of
Anaheim having demanded payment via registered letter of the
cost of removing certain weeds, rubbish and rank growth, in-
cluding dead trees, from certain real property within the City
of Anaheim more particularly described as Assessor's Parcel
No. 082-270-39, and the City Council being now advised that
payment has not been made,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does hereby order and resolve as follows:
1. That the copy of said letter of said Superintendent
of Streets demanding payment be, and the same is hereby con-
firmed.
2. That the cost of the removal as to the afore-
mentioned Assessor's Parcel No. 082-270-39, as set forth in
the copy of said letter from the Superintendent of Streets, is
ascertained and determined to be a correct cost.
3. That the Finance Department of the City of Anaheim
has demanded, in writing, from the owner, lessee or occupant
of the aforementioned Assessor's Parcel, that the amount deter-
mined as cost for removal of weeds, rubbish, and rank growth,
including dead trees, from said Assessor's Parcel be paid with-
in 10 days of receipt of said registered letter and that said
amount has not been paid.
4. That on or before the 30th day of June, 1964, the
City Clerk shall certify the costs of removal of said weeds,
rubbish and rank growth as contained in the copy of said letter
from the Superintendent of Streets demanding payment, attached
hereto, marked "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof, to the
Auditor of the County of Orange, in order that such costs
shall become a lien on the aforementioned Assessor's Parcel
and be collected with general taxes levied and assessed against
said property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
