A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
FROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for munici~a. 1 purposes, to wit' An easement for drainage and
~ublic' util~.ty PurPoses ............
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
offered
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HERMAN HENRY BRUNS, a _
widower,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for drainage
and public utility purposes
, and more particularly described as foll6ws'
An easement for drainage and public utility purposes over,
under, along and across the Southerly 10.00 feet of a por-
tion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of
Survey by William Hamel, a copy of which is shown in
Book 3, pages 162 to 164, inclusive, of Los Angeles County
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly line of said
Lot 25, with the Westerly prolongation of the Southerly
line of Tract No. 2757, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
108, pages 28 and 29 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, said point also being on the centerline
of Los Angeles Street as shown on a Map of said Tract
No. 2757; thence North 74° 13' 45" East along the Southerly
line of said Tract No. 2757, 320.00 feet; thence South 15
32' 15" East, 186.46 feet, parallel with the Westerly line
of said Lot 25, said Westerly line also being the center-
line of Los Angeles Street as shown on the Map of said
Tract No. 2757, to the Southerly line of the land described
by deed to Herman Henry Bruns and wife, recorded Novem-
ber 18, 1935 in Book 792, page 12 of Official Records;
thence South 74° 27' 45" West 320.00 feet along said
Southerly line and parallel with the Northerly line of
said Lot 25 to the Westerly line of said Lot 25 and said
centerline of Los Angeles Street; thence North 15° 32' 15"
West 185.16 feet along said Westerly line and said center-
line to the point of beginning.
Except therefrom the Westerly 30.00 feet.

ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum cf Ope Dollar
