RESOLUTION NO. 64R-73
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING $6,600,000 BONDS OF SAID
CITY TO THE BEST BIDDER AND
REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS.
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the
opening of bids for the $6,600,000 bonds of the City of
Anaheim, California, designated MUNICIPAL IMFROVEMENT
BONDS, ELECTION 1963, SERIES A, all bids were publicly
opened, examined and read, and a tabulation thereof has
been entered in the minutes; and
WHEREAS, the bid of the bidder hereinafter
named is the best bid made by a responsible bidder for
said bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, California., DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That the bid of United California
Bank, The First National Bank of Chicago, Continental Illinois
National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, Joint Managers
and assoc:ates
offering par, accrued interest to date of delivery and a
premium of $1,155.00 for bonds in the denomin-
ation of $ 5~0o0.00 each and bearing
interest payable annually the first year and semiannually
thereafter at the rates of:

3.0 ~ 1910 to 1980
3.10 ~ 1981 to 1982
3.20 ~ t983 to 1984

~ the 'bid for said bonds yielding the lowest net interest
cost. Said bid is hereby accepted and the bonds awarded
to said bidder in accordance with the terms of its proposal.
Section ~. That all bids other than the one
accepted in Section t hereof are rejected and the City
Clerk is directed to return the checks accompanying said
re~:ected 'bids to the respective bidders.
Section 3. That the interest rate on said bonds
hereby fixed at the r~te stated in Section I hereof.
Section ~. That in accordance with the terms of the
e~ccepted bid the denomination of said bonds is
hereby determined to be $5~000 .
Section 5. The Cit.!¥~ Treasurer is hereby directed
deliver said bonds to the successful bidder upon the pay-
:m~r~t ~,herefor and a~:crued interest to date of delivery, if any.
