A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING A SPECIAL PERMIT TO MOVE
ONE BUILDING FROM 950 EAST GENE AUTRY WAY TO
1899 SOUTH SANTA CRUZ STREET IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, a written application (the "Application") has
been filed with the City of Anaheim in conformance with the
requirements of Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim Municipal Code for a
Special Permit to move one (1) building (the "Structure") from
950 E. Gene Autry Way to 1899 S. Santa Cruz Street, Anaheim,
California; and
WHEREAS, the Application having been set for public
hearing on the 28th day of July 1998, at the hour of 6:00 o'clock
P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for such public
hearing having been given by mail at least ten (10) days prior to
the date fixed for the hearing to all owners of real property
located within a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the
property upon which the Structure is proposed to be moved; and
WHEREAS, the matter having come on regularly for
hearing upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and
the City Council having duly considered the Application for a
Special Permit, together will all evidence and reports submitted
in connection therewith, does find that such permit should be
granted for the following reasons:
1. That the Structure is proposed to be moved from
the southwest corner of the intersection of Gene Autry Way and
Santa Cruz Street directly north across Gene Autry Way to the
northwest corner of the same intersection; and
2. That the Structure, as proposed to be remodeled,
is comparable in value, size, quality, design and appearance to
existing buildings located in the area; and
3. That the Structure will not be detrimental to, nor
diminish the value of, property in the area; and
4. That the Structure will conform to the provisions
of Title 18 "Zoning" of the Anaheim Municipal Code applicable to
the property upon which it will be located; and
5. That relocation of the Structure is determined to
be Categorically Exempt from the California Environmental Quality
Act ("CEQA") under Section 15303, subsection (c) of the CEQA
Guidelines (Class 3 Exemption).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Application for a Special Permit to
move the Structure to 1899 S. Santa Cruz Street, Anaheim,
