RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 93
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 97R-101 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES
OF COMPENSATION FOR NON-REPRESENTED PART-TIME JOB CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
May 25, 2004, that Resolution No. 97R-101 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 97R-101 which
established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Non-Represented Part-
Time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending Resolution
No. 97R-101 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
1. That, Section 5 of Resolution No. 97R-101 be amended by changing the compensation
level for bilingual skills to read as follows:
"Section 5.
Part-time employees who are required to speak, read, and/or write in Spanish or other
languages as well as English as part of the regular duties of their position will be
compensated at the rate of ~ $.50 per hour in addition to their regular pay." Such
compensation shall be effective the first pay period following competency review."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of said amendment to Resolution
No. 97R-101 shall be the date of adoption by City Council.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, except as amended herein, Resolution No.
97R-101 shall remain in full force and effect.
