2004-103RESOLUTION NO. 2004-103 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM IMPOSING REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS UPON CERTAIN CITY STREETS RELATING TO STOPPING, STANDING, PARKING AND TURNING OF VEHICLES ON PUBLIC STREETS PURSUANT TO TITLE 14 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS, Division 11 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California authorizes local authorities, by ordinance or resolution, to regulate and control, among other matters, the stopping, standing, parking and turning of vehicles on public streets under the jurisdiction of such local authorities; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has heretofore adopted Title 14 of the Anaheim Municipal Code establishing certain restrictions, limitations and prohibitions upon the stopping, standing, parking and turning of vehicles which shall apply to certain public streets and street intersections within the City of Anaheim to the extent such restrictions, limitations and prohibitions are made applicable to such streets or intersections by ordinance or resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council, by adoption of this resolution, hereby imposes said restrictions, limitations and prohibitions on the public streets and street intersections in the City of Anaheim to the extent expressly adopted and specified herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AS FOLLOWS' SECTION 1. That this resolution shall be deemed the resolution referred to in the following sections of the Anaheim Municipal Code: Section 14.32.110 Section 14.32.120 Section 14.32.130 Section 14.32.135 Section 14.32.150 Section 14.32.151 Section 14.32.152 Section 14.32.153 Section 14.32.154 Section 14.32.155 Section 14.32.156 Section 14.32.157 Section 14.32.158 Section 14.32.160 Section 14.32.185 Section 14.32.189 Section 14.32.190 Section 14.32.195 Section 14.32.271 Section 14.32.272 Section 14.32.300 Section 14.56.010 Section 14.56.050 SECTION 2. That those respective restrictions, limitations and prohibitions upon the stopping, standing, parking and turning of vehicles as set forth in the respective sections of the Anaheim Municipal Code enumerated in Section 1 of this resolution are hereby made applicable to those certain public streets and intersections as, and to the extent, respectively described and set forth in that certain multiple volume set of regulations entitled "Anaheim Municipal Code Designated Parking Regulations" on file in the Office of the City Traffic and Transportation Manager (hereinafter the "Regulations") which Regulations are hereby adopted and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full. The Regulations are kept chronologically by date of approval by the Traffic and Transportation Manager and the Chief of Police. In the event of any conflict in any of the provisions of such Regulations, the provision bearing the most recent date of such approval shall be deemed to prevail. SECTION 3. That the provisions of this resolution shall become operative upon the effective date of Ordinance No. 5919.
