2004-109RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 109 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2000R-129 WHICH ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR JOB CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS FIRE SAFETY MANAGEMENT WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated June 15, 2004, that Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 2000R-129 which established rates of compensation for classifications designated as Fire Safety Management; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending Resolution No. 2000R-129 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: 1. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by deleting the following classifications: Classification Salary Range Principal Staff Services Officer Senior Staff Services Officer Staff Services Officer X FR15 X FR05 X FR00 2. That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by changing the salary range for the following classification: Classification Current Range New Range Fire Marshal XF FR40 XF FR15 3. That, Section 2 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by deleting the following salary range: Range Minimum Market Control FR50 $128,897 $161,121 $177,233 I :\VKILMUR\OT2830VK.DOC . annual salary for range FR30 to read as follows: That, Section 2 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by changing the Effective June 18, 2004, through December 30, 2004: From: Range Minimum Market Control FR15 $83,000 $103,750 $114,125 Range Minimum Market Control FR15 $83,946 $104,933 $115,426 To: Effective December 31, 2004: From: Range Minimum Market Control To: FR15 $86,728 $108,410 $119,251 Range Minimum Market Control FR 15 $87,738 $109,672 $120,639 5. That, Section 3 of Resolution No. 2000R-129 be amended by changing the unit of representation for one classification and deleting three (3) classifications, to read as follows: "Section 3. For purposes of benefits and application of Management Pay Guideline, Policies and Personnel Rules, classifications listed in Section 1 of this Resolution shall be assigned to the following units: Classification Unit of Representation Deputy Fire Marshal Fire Battalion Chief Fire Battalion Chief-Training 40 Hours Fire Division Chief Fire Marshal Supervisory 18 Middle Management 13 Middle Management 13 Administrative 12 Middle Management 13 I:WKILMUR\OT2830VK.DOC BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be June 18, 2004. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2000R-129 shall remain in full force and effect.
