A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF A PIPELINE
EASEMENT LOCATED AT 530 SOUTH OLD RANCH ROAD
(Abandonment No. 2004-00088)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004R-
83, duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of June, 2004, a public hearing was held to allow
interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain pipeline easement as set forth in an
Indenture recorded April 6, 1944 in Book 1241, Page 431 of the Official Records of Orange
Count>', located at 530 South Old Ranch Road in the City of Anaheim.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution shall
not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of'the Recorder
of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of' Anaheim this 22ndday of June ,2004, by the following roll-call vote:

Legal Description
A portion of a Pipeline Easement situated in Section 6, Township 4 South,
Range 8 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian described as follows:
That portion of that certain Pipeline Easement being a 10-foot-wide strip of
land as shown in a Conveyance granted from Jotham Bixby Company to
Walnut Canyon Mutual Water Company, recorded April 6, 1944 in Book
1241, Pages 431 through 434 inclusive, Official Records of Orange County,
California, lying within the boundaries of the below described parcel of land;
said below described parcel of land is also known presently as Assessor's
Parcel Number 356-171-16:
That portion of Parcel(s) 1, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, as per plat recorded in Book 18 of Parcel Maps, Page(s) 36, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said County, being the parcel of land
described and shown as Parcel 2, in the City of Anaheim Lot Line Adjustment
No. 379, recorded March 26, 1998 as Instrument No. 98-0174069, Official
Records of said County.
