A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 2014-093 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING,
DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING CERTAIN
CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated October 26, 2021, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications
within the designation of Administrative Management, effective the pay period beginning
October 29, 2021; and
WHEREAS, such additions, deletions and modifications require an amendment to
Section 1 of Resolution No. 2014-093, as amended; and
WHEREAS, employees serving in the classification of Senior Assistant City
Attorney — Confidential are not represented; and
WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees
(AFSCME) General Management unit is recognized as the exclusive representative for
employees serving in the classification of Senior Assistant City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating,
deleting and/or modifying such classifications designated as Administrative Management is in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1.
That, Section 1 of Resolution No. 2014-093, as amended, is further amended by
changing the title of the following classification:
From
Senior Assistant City Attorney - Confidential
Senior Assistant City Attorney
SECTION 2.
To
Chief Assistant City Attorney -Civil
Chief Assistant City Attorney -Prosecution
Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2014-093, as amended, shall remain in
full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2014-093, as amended, is
October 26, 2021.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 26 day of October . 2021, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Sidhu and Council Members Faessel, Diaz,
Ma'ae, Moreno, Valencia, and O'Neil
