AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 97-98-14(l)).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed
public hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its Resolution
No. PC98-38 prezoning certain unincorporated property located
adjacent to the City of Anaheim prior to annexation of said
property to the City, determining that a change or changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made,
unconditionally.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
ALL THAT UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY IN THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE, AS SHOWN ON A MAP, FILED IN BOOK 142, PAGES 21
THROUGH 24, INCLUSIVE, RECORDS OF SURVEY, IN THE OFFICE
OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID ORANGE COUNTY, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT AN ANGLE POINT IN THE EXISTING COMMON
BOUNDARY LINE OF THE CITIES OF ANAHEIM, AS ESTABLISHED BY
THE "KATELLA ANNEXATION" TO SAID CITY; AND THE CITY OF
ORANGE AS ESTABLISHED BY "ANNEXATION NO. 279 -AMENDED" TO
SAID CITY, SAID ANGLE POINT BEING AT THE SOUTHEASTERLY
TERMINUS OF A LINE DESCRIBED AS "SOUTHEASTERLY ALONG THE
SAID SOUTHWESTERLY RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF THE A.T. &
S.F.R.R. TO A POINT OF INTERSECTION WITH THE WESTERLY
LINE OF THE OLIVE AND WEST ORANGE PROTECTION DISTRICT" IN
SAID "KATELLA ANNEXATION" AND SAID ANGLE POINT ALSO BEING
A POINT ON THE NORTHWESTERLY LINE OF SAID "ANNEXATION NO.
279 -AMENDED", SAID POINT BEING SOUTH 22°53'43" WEST,
50.12 FEET FROM THE MOST NORTHWESTERLY CORNER OF SAID
ANNEXATION;
THENCE LEAVING THE EXISTING BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE AND FOLLOWING ALONG SAID EXISTING BOUNDARY OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, PER SAID "KATELLA ANNEXATION", PER
"DOUGLASS-KATELLA No. 2 ANNEXATION", PER "PLACENTIA-
CERRITOS ANNEXATION", PER "DOUGLASS-KATELLA ANNEXATION"
THROUGH THEIR VARIOUS COURSES IN GENERAL NORTHWESTERLY,
NORTHEASTERLY, NORTHERLY, NORTHEASTERLY, SOUTHERLY,
NORTHEASTERLY AND EASTERLY DIRECTION TO A POINT OF
INTERSECTION WITH THE EXISTING BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE AS ESTABLISHED BY "ANNEXATION NO. 277" TO SAID
CITY, SAID POINT BEING SOUTH 21057122" WEST, 64.21 FEET
FROM THE MOST WESTERLY NORTHWEST CORNER IN SAID
ANNEXATION;
THENCE LEAVING SAID EXISTING CITY BOUNDARY OF SAID CITY
OF ANAHEIM AND FOLLOWING ALONG THE EXISTING BOUNDARY OF
SAID CITY OF ORANGE PER SAID "ANNEXATION NO. 277"1 PER
"ANNEXATION NO.271" AND PER AFOREMENTIONED "ANNEXATION
NO. 279 -AMENDED" THROUGH THEIR VARIOUS COURSES IN A
GENERAL SOUTHWESTERLY DIRECTION TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
into the RS -A-43,000 (FP)"Residential/Agricultural-Floodplain
Overlay" ZONE of the City of Anaheim, unconditionally.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made
a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City
Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning
Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in
Said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage,
it shall take effect and be in full force.

THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim thisl5th day of
