A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN TEN
FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED AT 635
GILBERT STREET (Abandonment No. 00-IA)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004-
101. duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law: and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of July, 2004, a public hearing was held to allow
interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of portions that certain 10 foot wide public utility
easement lying within the boundaries of Lot Nos. 5 and 7, Tract 3091, in the City of Anaheim,
generally known as635 Gilbert Street.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution
shall not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by' the City Council
of thc City of Anaheim this 13th day' of July ,2004, by the following roll-call

Legal Description
That certain real property located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California described as follows:
That certain portion of a 10-foot Public Utility Easement designated and
delineated on Tract No. 3091, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 92, Pages
48 and 49 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, lying
within the boundaries of Lot 5 and Lot 7 of said Tract; the centerline of said
certain portion being the boundary line between said Lot 5 and Lot 7, having the
bearing N 34° 09' 21" W; said centerline being shortened so as to terminate at
the intersection with the westerly prolongation of a line which is 5 feet northerly
from and parallel to the southerly line of said Lot 5; the northeasterly line of said
certain portion being shortened so as to terminate at the intersection of a line
which is 5 feet northerly from and parallel to the southerly line of said Lot 5; the
southwesterly line of said certain portion being shortened so as to terminate at
the intersection of a line which is 5 feet northerly from and parallel to the
southerly line of Parcel "A" of that Parcel Map recorded in Book 10, Page 26 of
Parcel Maps, County of Orange, California.
