RESOLUTION NO. PC2000-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOS. 1566 AND 2052
WHEREAS, on September 29, 1975 the Anaheim City Planning Commission adopted
Resolution No. PC99-178 to grant Conditianal Use Permit No. 1566 to permit an automobile auction and
reconditioning facility on property located at 1320 North Tustin Avenue; and
WHEREAS, on April 9, 19$0 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 80R-152 to grant
Conditional Use Permit No. 2052 to expand the existing automobile auction and reconditioning facility;
and
WHEREAS, this property is developed with a wholesale automobile auction and
reconditioning facility for used cars (California Auto Dealers Exchange ["C.A.D.E."]); and that the site is
located in Development Area 1(Industrial) of the Northeast Area Specific Plan (SP 94-1) and is
designated for General Industrial land uses by the Anaheim General Plan Land Use Element; and
WHEREAS, Conditional U~e Permit No. 2334 (waiver of minimum structural setbacks
adjacent to public streets to retain four temporary trailers for office use, two canopies and new auction
vehicle lanes in conjunction with the existing automobile auction and reconditioning facility was approved
by the Planning Commission October 11, 1999 under Resolution No. 99-178; and that Condition No. 21
of said resolution specifies that the petitioner request termination of Variance Nos. 1566 and 2052; and
WHEREAS, Jim DesRocF~ers, General Manager for C.A.D.E., has submitted a letter
requesting termination of Conditional Use Permit Nos. 1566 and 2052 to comply with the conditions of
approval of Conditional Use Permit 2334.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings in cennection with Conditional Use Permit No. 1566 and 2052 on
the basis of the foregoing findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of
February 14, 2000.
