Resolution-PC 2001-1~ ~ RESOLUTION NO. PC2001-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3675 AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3924 (CUP Tracking No. 2001-04305) WHEREAS, on May 2, 1994, the Anaheim City Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC94-51 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3675 and permit a private educational facility (ninth through twelfth grades) with a caretaker's unit and waiver of minimum number of parking spaces on property located at 2200 West Sequoia Avenue; and that Commission subsequently adopted Resolution Nos. PC94-133 and PC96-2 to amend certain conditions of approval contained in said Resolution No. PC 94-51; and WHEREAS, on April 14, 1997, the Anaheim City Council adopted Resolution No. 97R-71 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3924 and permit construction of a gymnasium/auditorium and classroom for a private educational facility with waivers of minimum parking lot landscaping, minimum number of parking spaces, maximum structural height and minimum landscaping adjacent to residential zones on property located at 2212 West Sequoia Avenue; and that the Planning subsequently adopted Resolution No. PC97-144 to amend certain conditions of approval contained in said Resolution No. 97R- 71; and WHEREAS, on August 28, 2000, the Planning. Commission adopted Resolution No. PC2000-101 to approve Conditional Use Permit No. 4244, in part, and permit expansion of an existing private school with waiver minimum number of parking spaces on property located at 2220-2240 West Sequoia Avenue (waivers of required number of trees, required parking lot landscaping and required landscaped setback along a local street were denied); and that Condition No. 27 of said Resolution No. PC2000-101 specifies that the property owner shall request termination of the two previously approved Conditional Use Permit Nos. 3675 and 3924; and WHEREAS, this property is developed with a private school and gymnasium (Fairmont School) and is zoned CL (Commercial, Limited); that the property is located in the Brookhurst Commercial Corridor Redevelopment Project Area; and that the Anaheim General Plan Land Use Element designates this property for General Commercial Land Uses; and WHEREAS, David R. Jackson, property owner, has submitted a letter requesting termination of Conditional Use Permit Nos. 3924 and 3675 to comply with the conditions of approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 4244. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit Nos. 3924 and 3675 on the basis of the foregoing findings. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of January 3, 2001.
