RESOLUTION NO. PC2001-157
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOS. 2754 AND 3377
WHEREAS, on January 20, 1986, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC86-25 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 2754 and permit a residential trailer in conjunction with an
existing church on property located at 1590 West Ball Road; and
WHEREAS, on January 14, 1991, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC91-05 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3377 and permit a 4,436 sq.ft. modular classroom for a pre-
school and day care with waivers of maximum structural height and minimum number of parking spaces
on property located at 4590 West Ball Road; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission subsequently adopted Resolution No. PC2001-
106 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-4398 and permit a preschool and day care facility in
conjunction with the existing church at 1590 West Ball Road; and that Condition No. 3 of said resolution
specifies that the petitioner shall request termination of Conditional Use Permit Nos. 2754 and 3377; and
WHEREAS, this property is developed with a 14,350 sq.ft. church, accessory office and
parish hall, and is zoned RS-A-43,000 (Residential/Agricultural); and that the Anaheim General Plan
Land Use Element designates th€-prop~r~y for Medium Density Residential land uses, and
WHEREAS, Gaines Stanley, the CEO of Central Church of Christ, has submitted a letter
requestin~ termination of Conditional Use Permit Nos. 2754 and 3377 to comply with the conditions of
approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-4398.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit No. 2754 and
Conditional Use Permit No. 3377 on the basis of the foregoing findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of
November 19, 2001.
