RESOLUTION NO. PC2001-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 4044
WHEREAS, on October 20, 1998 City Council adopted Resolution No. 98R-237 to grant
Conditional Use Permit No. 4044 and permit a steel storage yard at 3400 East Frontera Street with two
temporary accessory modular buildings and waiver of minimum landscaped setback adjacent to a freeway; and
WHEREAS, on December 4, 2000, Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC2000-135
to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 2000-04285, in part, to permit and expand an outdoor steel and lumber
storage yard with accessory modular buildings for a period of five years until December 4, 2005 (waivers of
minimum landscaped setback adjacent to a freeway, maximum number of freestanding signs and minimum
distance between freestanding signs were denied); and that Condition No. 27 of said resolution specifies that
the property owner shall submit a letter requesting termination of Conditional Use Permit No. 4044; and
WHEREAS, the property is developed with an outdoor steel and lumber storage yard located in
Development Area 1(Industrial Area) of the Northeast Area Specific Plan No. SP94-1; that the Anaheim
General Plan Land Use Element designates the property for General Industrial land uses; and that the property
is located within the Project Alpha Redevelopment Area (Northeast Area).
WHEREAS, George Adams, property owner, requests termination of Conditional Use Permit
No. 4044 to comply with the conditions of approval of Conditional Use Permit No. 2000-04285; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does
hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit No. 4044 on the basis of the
foregoing findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planni~(glCor~missy~~ meeting of July 2,
