RESOLUTION NO. PC2001-97
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOS. 874, 2293 AND 3182
WHEREAS, on August 29, 1966 the Pianning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC66-59 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 874 to permit construction of an indoor theater and a
restaurant on a parcel located southeast of the southeast corner of Manchester Avenue and Harbor
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, on February 8, 1982 the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No.
PC82-12 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 2293 to retain an automobile agency at 1400 South Harbor
Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, on July 31, 1989 the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC89-
195 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 3182 to convert a motion picture theater at 1414 South Harbor
Boulevard to a live performance theater; and
WHEREAS, on April 23, 2001 the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC2001-
42 to grant Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-04346, in part, to construct a 6,581 sq.ft. full-service semi-
enclosed restaurant at 1400 South Harbor Boulevard with waiver of permitted number of wall signs and
Sign Standard Matrix requirements; and that Condition No. 6 of said resolution specifies that the property
owner to submit a-letter to the Planning-~epartme~~ requesting-teFmir~ation-o~ GonditioFlal Use Permit
Nos. 874, 2293 and 3182 because said petitions are no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the property owner has submitted a letter requesting termination of the above-
mentioned conditional use permits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does
hereby terminate all proceedings in connection with Conditional Use Permit Nos. 874, 2293 and 3182 on
the basis of the foregoing findings.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of
July 30, 2001.
