RESOLUTION NO. PC2002-87

A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
TERMINATING ALL PROCEEDINGS IN CONNECTION WITH
VARIANCE NO. 2001-04453
WHEREAS, on September 10, 2001, the Anaheim City Planning Commission, by
Resolution No. PC2001-130, granted Variance No. 2001-04453 for waivers of minimum distance between
signs and maximum sign width to construct a second monument sign at 1271 Auto Center Drive (Anaheim
Mazda Hyundai); and
WHEREAS, on January 14, 2002, the Anaheim Planning Commission, by Resolution No.
PC2002-4, granted Variance No. 2001-04461 for waivers of maximum number of signs, maximum sign
area, minimum distance befinreen freestanding signs, maximum height of freestanding or monument type
signs and maximum sign width to construct a seventh sign for the existing auto dealership; and that
Condition No. 3 of said resolution requires the property owner to submit a Ietter to the Zoning Division
requesting termination of Variance No. 2001-04453 because said entitlement is no longer needed; and
WHEREAS, Rich Heinz, president of HAE, Inc., has submitted a letter requesting
termination of Variance No. 2001-04453, in compliance with the above-mentioned Condition No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does
hereby terminate all proceedings in connection Variance No. 2001-04453 on the basis of the foregoing
findings. --
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was adopted at the Planning Commission meeting of
June 17, 2002.
