A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE WAIVER OF NOTICE OF ENTRY
INTO A DONATED SPACE AGREEMENT BY THE COUNTY OF
ORANGE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, Health Care Agency Financial/Administrative
Services Department, proposes to enter into a Donated Space Agreement for approximately 1,000
square feet of space for a Womens, Infants and Children (WIC) Program Facility Resource
Department at 2180 West Crescent Avenue, Suite A, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the County to notify the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into such Agreement,
unless such notice is waived by resolution of the City Council;
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council waive such sixty-day
notice requirement.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has determined the proposed
project is in conformance with the Anaheim General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the requested waiver of the sixty-day notice required by Government Code Section
25351 is hereby approved with respect to the aforementioned Agreement.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 14th day of September, 2004, by the following roll call vote:
