HONDA COMPANY-~-: CYCLE AND MINI-BIKE PAR~S: City Manager Keith M~rdoch reported an invitation to-the Anaheim City Cbuncil, Orange County Board of Super- visors, and the Press to attend a luncheon hosted by the Honda Company of Japan,during the week of August 17, 1970, to discuss the overall con- cept of cycle and mini-bike parks. Mr. M~rdoch said the Honda Company has indicated an interest in possibly developing the Orange County-owned former dump site near the Autonetics Plant as a model cycle and mini-bike park, at their expense. The Council agreed to accept the invitation of the Honda Com- pany, and tentatively set the date of Monday, August 17, as most appro- priate. ADJOURN~NT: Councilman Stephenson moved to adjourh. Public hearing was scheduled August 4, 1970, and continued to this date to obtain additional information regarding expected revenues from such franchise agreement, request. O~ motion by Councilman Clark, seconded bY Councilman Stephenson, public hearing was continued to August 25, 1970, to allow reports to be ana- lyzed. MOTION CARRIED. ENTERT~INMEN~ PERMIT: Application filed by Henry Paul and Lena Roberts, for en- tertainment permit to allow three musicians and a vocalist in the piano bar of the Prime Rib Inn of Anaheim, 1550 South Harbor Boulevard, was submitted and granted for a period of one year, subject to provisions of Chapter 4.18 of time Anaheim Municipal Code, as recommended by the Chief of Police, on mo- tion by Councilman Stephenson, seconded by Councilman Clark. Lindenberg, Monroe Realty Company, dated July 28, 1970, was submitted for a release of bond for masonry wall along the~ Westerly property li~e, (pursuant to Reso- lution No. 62R-805), together with' report of the Development Services Depart- ment recommending said bond be released. On recommendation of the City Manager, release of masonry wall bond was authorized, subject to dedication of 32 feet along the westerly boundary of subject property for street purposes, and dedication of all vehicular ac- cess rights thereto, except at existin~ alley openinss (s~reet prppoged as an extension of Secondary Highway Clementine Street per Circulation Element), on motion by Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Stephenson. Cersten, Newport Investments, Inc., for approval of revised plans and an extension of time to Conditional'Use Permit No. 1067 (Resolu- tion No. 68R-694) was submitted, together with report of'Development Services Department recommending a six-month' extension of time to expire February 18, 1971, be approved if revised plans are considered appropriate. Mayor Dutton invited Everett Minar, 220 North Vine Street, to ad- dress the Council. Mr. Minar agreed the islands at Rose Street hindered use of a gar-. age on Applicant's property; however, he requested the two smaller islands on the corner of Vine Street and Cypress be .retained, since he felt they helped control traffic at that point. City Engineer James P.
