This insurance would provide 60% of salary up to a maximum of $1,500.00 per month to age 65, after a 6-month waiting period from date of each illness or disability, to become effective January 1, 1971. City Manager Keith Murdoch explained the upgrade procedure change also applies to persons upgraded to a higher reclassification on a tempo- rary basis, such as taking over another's responsibilities in his absence.
