Written consent to the holding of a special meeting, and waiver of
notice thereof, for the purpose of considering the commencement of the NORTH-
EAST ANNEXATION NO. 3 and DOWLING-ORANGETHORPE ANNEXATION, was signed by all
members of the City Council prior to said meeting.
Mayor Schutte called the meeting to order.
PRESENT: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and Schutte.
ABSENT : COUNCILMEN: None.
PRF. SENI: CITY MANAGER: Keith A. Murdoch.
CITY ATTORNEY: Preston Turner
CITY CLERK: Dene M. Williams.
DOWLING-ORANGBTHORPE ANNEXATION: Request for the consent to the commencement
of annexation proceedings was presented.
Map of the area proposed in said annexation was submitted and re-
viewed by the City Council.
Councilman Chandler moved said request be received and referred to
the City Planning Commission for report and recommendation. Councilman Coons
seconded said motion. MOTION CARRIED.
NORTHEAST ANNEXATION NO. 3: Request for consent to the commencement of annex-
ations proceedings was presented.
Map of the area p~oposed in said annexation was submitted and reviewed
by the City Council.
Councilman Chandler moved said request be received and referred to
the City Planning Commission for report and recommendation. Councilman Coons,
seonded said motion. MOTION CARRIED.
Councilman Chandler moved said meeting recess to 4:30 P.M.~ Councilman
Coons seconded the motion. MO/ION CARRIED.
