(Councilman Thompson entered the meeting, 3;07 P.M.) This reduction in lot depth in his opinion would make the lots useless for M-l utilization.. Mr. Tate stated that in his opinion offices with doors coming out onto Buena Vista Avenue would cause considerable amount of parking on that street by the professional people, thereby causing commercial and extra traffic in an area which cannot accomodate it, because such traffic already exists on the other side of the street. Mr. Rothman advised that they would remove the doors from the Buena Vista side. Mro Duane Dawson, 1664 Buena Vista Avenue, addressed the Council advising that he was one of the gentlemen who met with Mr. Rothman 0 He stated that these plans would be acceptable if Mr. Rothman would write into the record that the through walk-way entrances onto Buena Vista Avenue would also be closed. Mro Rothman stated that they would be willing to work the matter out and restrict the parking and the entrances to these offices to the parking area, that it was not their intention to use Buena Vista Avenue as a commercial street. Myry Dawson further asked what could be done to guarantee immediate completion of the homes and not merely the clearing of the ground. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN ACCESS ROADS AS "EXTRA WORK" UNDER THE EXISTING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF RESERVOIR NO. I. The Mayor declared Resolution No. 7328 duly passed and adopted. STREET NAMING COMMITTEE ~. EUCLIp-NICHOLAS AVENUE: Mayor Schutte reported on Councilman Coons' recommendation to the Street Naming Committee that the name of EucLid Avenue be retained instead of changing to "Nicholas Avenuet. as the majority of the street is presently named "Euclid Avenue". STATE COMPENSATION INSURANCE - REFUND OF PREMIUM: Mr. Keith A. Murdoch submitted and read in full the congratulatory letter accompanying check in the amount of $44,168.25, representing refund of 53.5% of the total premium paid on City of Anaheim Workman's Compensation Insurance Policy. ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Fry moved to adjourn. Councilman Schutte seconded the motion.
