RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 218
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING THE WAIVER OF NOTICE OF LEASE
BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, Office of the District Attorney, proposes to
amend an existing Lease of 7,200 square feet of office space and garage for its Criminal
Investigation Program staff at 1725 South Douglass Road, Suites 406, 407, 408 and 409, Anaheim,
California; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25351 requires the County to notify the
City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, in writing, at least sixty days prior to entering into such Lease,
unless such notice is waived by resolution of the City Council;
WHEREAS, the County has requested that the City Council waive such sixty-day
notice requirement.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has determined the
proposed project is in conformance with the Anaheim General Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the requested waiver of the sixty-day notice required by Government Code Section
25351 is hereby approved with respect to the aforementioned Lease.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim this 9th day of November, 2004, by the following roll call vote:
