of $50.00 for bus ness license obtained for the operation of a portable
food stand in the East Anaheim Shopping Center on the dates of April 19th
through April 23, 1961, was submitted, together with the recommendation of
the City Treasure , reconunending that said request be granted as the stand
was removed.
Discuss on was held by the Council and Councilman Chandler felt
that the request or refund should have been made prior to the ex'piration
of the period for which the license was issued, and thereupon, moved that
said request for efund be denied. Councilman Thompson seconded the motion,
stating that in h s opinion, there should be a Council policy to the effect
that if a License finds he can not use his business license, the request
for refund, or an part thereof, should be made before the license period
has expiredo To his motion, Councilman Fry and Councilman Schutte voted
