RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 237
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 92R-17 WHICH ESTABLISHED
PERSONNEL RULES FOR MANAGEMENT, CONFIDENTIAL AND
NON-REPRESENTED PART-TIME CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated
December 14, 2004, that Resolution No. 92R-17 be amended in the manner hereinafter set
forth, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 92R-17 which
established Personnel Rules for Management, Confidential and Non-Represented Part Time
Classifications.
NOW, THREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as
follows:
1. That, Section 15.5 of Personnel Rule 15, Holidays, be amended to read as follows,
Section 15.6 be deleted, and Section 15.7 be renumbered to 15.6:
"Section 15.5 Non-represented part-time employees in the classifications listed in
Section 15.54 shall receive pay at the rate of one and on-half times their regular hourly
rate of pay for the following:
New Year's Day
Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
15.53 In case of rain-out or cancellation of event, and if ANAHEIM does not give
reasonable notice either personally or through public communication, ANAHEIM
will pay to hourly employees two (2) hours' pay if the employee reports to work.
15.54 These classifications are:
Alteration Worker
Assistant Box Office Treasurer
Box Office Treasurer
Crowd Control Supervisor
Head Parking Lot Attendant
Head Parking Lot Cashier
PIT Guest Services Specialist 1/11 - Convention Center Only

15.6 The City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk and City Treasurer shall also be
subject to the provisions of this RULE."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution shall be
December 17, 2004.
AND, BE IT FURTHER ERSOLVED that except as amended herein, Resolution No.
92R-17 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved a adopted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim this 14th day of December, 2004, by the following roll call vote:
