A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM V ACA TING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN TEN
FOOT EQUESTRIAN AND HIKING EASEMENT LOCATED AT
384 AND 388 RAMSGA TE DRIVE (Abandonment No. 2004-
00092)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution No. 2004-
209, duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service
easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and
published in the manner prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of December, 2004, a public hearing was held to
allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation.
WHEREAS, the abandonment approved herein does not convey right, title and
interest to the abandoned property, which is conveyed by separate quitclaim deed pursuant
hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain 10 foot wide equestrian and hiking
easement over the southerly ten feet of Lots 14 and 15 of Tract 9524 in the City of Anaheim, as
shown on a map filed as Instrument No. 13790 in the Office of the Recorder of the County of
Orange, generally known as 384 and 388 Ramsgate Drive.
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto, for the legal description of the foregoing.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this Resolution
shall not be effective until a certified copy of this Resolution is recorded in the Office of the
Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby,
authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of
the Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 14thdayof December ,2004, by the following roll-call
vote:
