RESOLUTION NO. 70R- 610
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHBIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY THAT LOCAL AGENCY-STATE TOPICS AGREEMENT
RELATING TO THE "TOPICS STUDY".
WHEREAS, in connection with the Traffic Operations
Program to increase capacity and safety, hereinafter referred to
in this resolution as "topics", it is necessary that the City of
Anaheim enter into a Local Agency-State Topics Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a Local Agency-State Topics Agreement has been
presented to the City and has been reviewed by the Office of the
City Attorney and found to be in proper form to meet the State and
Federal requirements of the "topicsll program; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Anaheim to participate in said program and to execute said Local
Agency-State Topics Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby authorize
and direct the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim to
execute that certain Local Agency-State Topics Agreement hereto-
fore approved as to form by the Office of the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby directed to turn said Local Agency-State Topics Agreement,
as soon as it is executed, over to the Traffic Engineer for fur-
ther processing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 29th day of December, 1970.
